About this grant
The Michigan Land Use Institute is working to make northwest Michigan a model of ecological and economic sustainability, particularly with respect to energy use and generation. With Mott support over the next two years, the grantee will focus its efforts to expand solar deployment and increase participation in energy efficiency programs in the Traverse City area. The grantee will also share best practices and lessons learned through a variety of means including original journalism and networking activities.
