About this grant
The Great Lakes ecosystem provides drinking water and recreational opportunities to millions of New York residents and supports multibillion dollar industries. Citizens Campaign Fund for the Environment is a New York-based, environmental organization with a longtime commitment to the Great Lakes. With Mott support, the grantee will help update New York’s Great Lakes Action Agenda (a state plan to address Great Lakes priorities); educate decisionmakers and the general public on Great Lakes issues; engage in regional freshwater policy discussions; and take steps to improve its communications capacity.
