About this grant
This grant allows Michigan State University to support Flint Community Schools with technical assistance aimed at improving teaching and learning across the district. The initiative will include four primary components: development of a student support system, strategic curriculum support and alignment, comprehensive organizational and operational alignment, and community schools support. The goal is to increase district capacity, improve school culture, increase operational efficiency, and improve student academic outcomes, which has become even more important with the issues surrounding the city’s water system.
