About this grant

The University of Michigan’s Center for Local, State, and Urban Policy conducts, supports, and fosters applied academic research that informs local, state, and urban policy issues. This project will study existing wind farms in Michigan in order to identify local policies and practices that maximize community acceptance of wind development, as well as provide Michigan communities and individuals information on the potential pros and cons of developing wind energy in their community.
