About this grant
Conectas is a Brazilian nongovernmental agency founded in 2001, working on strengthening social and environmental protections around development finance in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Over the past project period, the grantee made important advances on transparency and dialogue with the Brazilian Development Bank and New Development Bank to advance environmental and social governance. Over the next project period, the grantee will build upon its work to strengthen governance standards and social and environmental policies of these development finance institutions to improve the sustainability of energy and infrastructure development in South America.
