About this grant
Genesee County Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. In keeping with its mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope, Genesee County Habitat for Humanity works with neighborhood associations, block clubs, and other local grassroots groups on leadership development and other forms of capacity building. This grant will provide support for the Flint BRAND Program that builds the capacity of neighborhood groups to conceptualize, plan, and assist in implementing projects that have an immediate visible impact on their neighborhood’s environment, and help to improve Flint residents’ quality of life.
