About this grant
Metro Community Development is a multi-service community development corporation dedicated to creating stable and vibrant neighborhoods and communities in Flint and Genesee County. The grantee serves as both an intermediary and a direct service provider for federal and state programs designed to assist low-income people with housing and capital access needs. This grant will assist Metro Community Development in strengthening the capacity of its asset-building and coalition-building activities, including its federal Community Development Financial Institution and Continuum of Care programs, which are integral to the economic and social recovery of Flint following the water crisis.
