About this grant
This grant will provide resources to the Valley Area Agency on Aging to host four large-scale community events for seniors in response to the Flint water crisis. The events will focus on disseminating water-related information, providing access to lead-mitigating foods, and addressing the transportation needs of Flint area seniors. Participating vendors will include area nonprofits working in these areas such as the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Genesee County Health Department, and Michigan State University.
