About this grant
This grant will support Mott Community College’s Adult Career Pathway Program, which will leverage many of the college’s existing educational and training programs to help connect unemployed adults, low-income workers, and youth to employment and a career pathway. The goal is to ensure that area residents can enter and advance into higher-wage occupations in high growth industries. Work experience and support services are integrated into the model and enable students and workers to combine school and work and advance along a career pathway over time. Providing residents with opportunities for job training and career advancement will help build Flint’s economic resilience to recover from the water crisis.
