About this grant
The U.S.-Mexico Border Philanthropy Partnership is an independent, binational entity whose members include foundations, corporate giving programs, philanthropic individuals, academics, and nonprofit organizations. Its mission is to support a network of organizations that build prosperity through leadership, collaboration, and philanthropy in the U.S.-Mexico border region. Over the past eight years, the grantee has grown from 45 to over 300 members, provided capacity building technical assistance to members, facilitated connections between organizations from various sectors, and significantly raised awareness of cross-border issues. Goals for the next year include leading and advocating on transborder issues of interest to members, strengthening the philanthropic capacity of transborder communities, and strengthening the grantee’s own internal capacity and infrastructure.
