About this grant
The Global Fund for Community Foundations is a global, grassroots grantmaker, established in 2009 to assist local philanthropy. It will work with the Tanzanian Association of Microfinance Institutions to provide training and capacity building for Tanzanian financial service providers to support micro-, small, and medium enterprises in the energy sector. Through this grant, capacity building programs will be established to help local-level finance service providers understand clean energy technologies as well as financing innovations for the renewable energy sector in Tanzania.
