About this grant

This grant will advance evidence-based interventions and practices that expand the use of coaching/mentoring programs as a strategy to improve high school graduation as well as college and career readiness outcomes for young people. During the grant period, the National Mentoring Partnership will chart the landscape of existing programs, develop and promote a program framework that aligns with the Foundation’s interests and priorities, and promote the framework with practitioners, funders, and other relevant stakeholders. National Mentoring Partnership was founded in 1990 to build a national mentoring movement capable of scaling quality mentoring relationships for young people in America. Its stated mission is to close the mentoring gap by expanding the quality and quantity of mentoring relationships for young people.
