About this grant
With this grant, Flint Community Schools will resurface several of the district’s parking lots, prioritizing those that are in the greatest need of repair. As families and community members approach school buildings, the exterior physical appearance provides an important first impression about the district and the quality of services it will provide. Resurfaced parking lots will improve the safety of the school grounds and create a more welcoming environment for school staff, parents, and the community.
