About this grant
This grant will support the YMCA of Greater Flint in conducting a feasibility analysis. The goal of this analysis is to determine the long-term future of its downtown facility. First built in 1961 at 411 E. Third Street, this building has served the primary recreational and programmatic functions for the YMCA for several decades, and now key information needs to be gathered to help shape the future of this site. Predevelopment work will include financial analysis, design aspects, environmental concerns, community engagement, and municipal approvals.
