Youth Entrepreneurship Curriculum for Afterschool Programs

VentureLab will provide training, technical assistance, and professional development materials that enable state afterschool networks to develop professional learning opportunities for local afterschool leaders. The goal of this effort is to increase the number of afterschool programs offering high quality entrepreneurship education programming and, ultimately, increase the number of youth who have opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. The grantee was founded in 2012 to empower the next generation of innovators and changemakers by teaching them to have the skillsets and mindsets associated with entrepreneurism. Through its educational and training activities, VentureLab expands entrepreneurship learning opportunities for students across the K-12 continuum (especially girls) in the United States, as well as internationally.
