About this grant
This grant will provide funding to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint as it supports the expansion of early childhood education in Flint. Expanding access to high-quality early childhood education was always important for the city, but became even more important following the water crisis. The grantee employs an executive director to manage the Flint Early Childhood Collaborative, a project that aims to increase access to and the quality of early childhood education in Flint through strategic planning, research, advocacy, and participation in the Educare Learning Network.
