About this grant
The Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation is seeking to renovate the former Genesee County Savings Bank building into a downtown Flint hotel. The full vision is a transformed city block that, in addition to the hotel, has a park space, restaurant, and banquet center. This project is essential for the continued resurgence of downtown Flint. Upon completion, the hotel will provide business and leisure travelers with an improved hospitality option.
