About this grant

The Aspen Institute’s Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation seeks to inform and maximize the impact of philanthropists, social investors, and those they support so that each can contribute to the good society at home and abroad. The project’s primary activity is a yearly meeting of the Aspen Philanthropy Group—a group of foundation chief executives and selected strategic advisors. The project also organizes problem-solving working groups and roundtable discussions on critical topics to philanthropists and offers leadership development programming. Aspen Institute is a leading U.S. think tank, with an international network of partners that fosters values-based leadership and provides a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues.
