About this grant
The Franciscan Solidarity Service is a Catholic association in Brazil that promotes a vision of social action based on social, human, and environmental rights and Franciscan Christian principles, aimed at the construction of social and environmental justice. Over the proposed project period, the grantee’s professionals will work in the Brazilian Amazon to map threats to communities and environmental human rights defenders and promote strategies to improve safety and solidarity of communities and environmental human rights defenders.
