About this grant
The goal of this project is to enhance the capacity and knowledge of philanthropic networks. In 2018-2019, the United Philanthropy Forum continued to expand its network, engaged on federal tax reform legislation and its impact on the charitable sector, strengthened partnerships and collaboration with other infrastructure organizations, advanced racial equity and inclusion within philanthropy, and improved its financial sustainability. In 2020-2021, the grantee will continue to lead a vibrant network; maximize the individual and collective capacity and impact of its members; provide learning, knowledge, and resources to its members; and strengthen its own capacity and sustainability. Formed in 1998 as the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, the United Philanthropy Forum is a national network of associations of grantmakers. Its current members are 80 philanthropy-serving organizations across the U.S. that represent more than 7,000 foundations and other philanthropic organizations.
