About this grant
Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is a Peruvian nongovernmental organization focused on sustainable development and conservation of the Peruvian Amazon Basin. Over the last grant period, the grantee implemented its strategic plan and grew its core budget. The grantee also made significant contributions to reforming and implementing the environment and social framework at the World Bank Group and formed a network to engage in the Inter-American Development Bank social and environmental framework review. This grant renewal provides general purpose support to Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales to implement the final two years of its current strategic plan, focusing on strengthening environmental governance and standards, sustainable development and Amazon forest conservation.
