Iowa Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Iowa Children’s Museum, which coordinates the Iowa Statewide Afterschool Network, to continue the development of policy, partnerships and resources to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) leveraging partnerships to expand access to more equitable and high-quality afterschool and summer learning programs; 2) establishing afterschool and summer learning initiatives as a key strategy for addressing the lack of child care supports; 3) expanding quality improvement efforts statewide to enhance the access and status of afterschool and summer learning programs; and 4) supporting the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
