About this grant
The state of Michigan’s Ludington State Park, located along the Lake Michigan shoreline between Muskegon and Manistee, is home to a wide range of natural communities and provides shelter for threatened and endangered species. The park’s natural beauty draws over 800,000 visitors annually, making it the region’s top tourist destination and a vital part of the local economy. Mott funds will be used to add additional acreage to the park, including pristine dune lands near the park’s primary entrance.
