About this grant
This grant to the University of Southern Maine will enable the Maine Statewide Afterschool Network to increase the availability of high-quality summer learning programs in Maine. This project will: 1) support the development and implementation of a statewide education campaign on the need for summer learning in Maine; 2) develop coalitions of key partners throughout the state; and 3) build a network of afterschool and summer learning champions in Maine. The grantee will share lessons learned with other state networks to increase access to summer learning programs.
