Afterschool Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative

About this grant

This grant to the Wyoming Community Foundation will enable the Wyoming Statewide Afterschool Network to advance activities that will support the state’s efforts to successfully increase the skills and knowledge of the future workforce. This project will: 1) increase young people’s interest in new business development through entrepreneurship activities; 2) develop a curriculum and activity portal for afterschool programs; and 3) engage new business, industry, school districts, and higher education partners to support and develop joint initiatives focused on afterschool career readiness. The grantee will share lessons learned with other state networks to enhance youth entrepreneurial and workforce initiatives in afterschool programs.
