About this grant
This grant to Nebraska Children and Families Foundation will enable the Nebraska Statewide Afterschool Network to increase the quality and sustainability of afterschool programs across Nebraska by expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for youth through regional and national partnerships in under-served rural afterschool communities. This project will: 1) increase the number of high-quality afterschool programs in rural communities; 2) design and develop entrepreneurial project-based programming for K-12 youth; and 3) expand strategic partnerships to support entrepreneurial initiatives. The grantee will share lessons learned with other state networks to enhance youth entrepreneurial initiatives in rural afterschool programs.
