About this grant
The Northeast-Midwest Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the economic and environmental health of the Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the grantee provides data, research and policy analysis to inform state and federal policy reforms and programs. This grant will support the organization’s general purposes including its significant initiatives on the Great Lakes, workforce development, safe drinking water and watershed conservation. The Northeast-Midwest Institute provides federal freshwater policy analysis to stakeholders in the Great Lakes and will be launching new initiatives on climate change impacts, public finance and affordable drinking water.
