About this grant
The Connecting Communities in the Americas, managed by CFLeads, is an initiative that has the mission of inspiring and strengthening community foundations and partners for local impact as they address issues that transcend borders. Since 2016, over 200 organizations have participated in Connecting Communities in the Americas, including 150 community foundations from 13 countries in North, Central and South America. Over the past three years, its activities have included monthly virtual peer resource-sharing events, annual convenings, publications and grants for mapping, action and learning exchange grants. Over 2024 and 2025, the initiative will support community foundations with new mapping, action and learning exchange grants, continue peer learning activities, create and disseminate learning products, conduct a symposium in Brazil in 2024 and convene a gathering in North America in 2025. CFLeads is a U.S.-based national network of community foundations committed to community leadership.
