About this grant
The mission of the Environmental Leadership Program is to support visionary, action-oriented and diverse leadership for a just and sustainable future. Over the years, the grantee has developed a very robust curriculum delivered in retreat settings to build the capacity of more than 1,300 emerging and mid-career environmental professionals. With prior Mott support, the grantee provided its core programming in a regional format to leaders in the Great Lakes, though the organization did move to a virtual format over the last two years due to the pandemic. With renewed support, the grantee will deliver its fellowship program to as many as 20 Great Lakes leaders each year, including five people of color, using a hybrid program delivery model.
