About this grant
The Ohio Environmental Council is a statewide environmental organization that leads efforts to protect and restore Lake Erie and its tributaries. The grantee provides scientific, legal, and policy analyses and technical assistance to citizens, nonprofits, and decision makers. With prior Mott support, the grantee has helped implement the Great Lakes Compact, prevent invasive species, and protect drinking water through integrated water management. With this increase, the grantee will commission a report on Ohio’s water infrastructure investments and water affordability at the community and individual level.
