About this grant
Brandeis University’s Institute for Economic and Racial Equity is a research institute that promotes programs and policies that expand economic opportunity and equity for individuals and families, particularly households of color. Renewal funding will enable the Institute to continue advancing the children’s savings account movement by helping stakeholders utilize and leverage data to accelerate best practices, promote coordination and collaboration and inform policy. Key activities planned for the renewal grant period include collecting and sharing data on key field metrics, coordinating the grantee learning community and preparing a summative analysis of field progress. The Mott Foundation has supported Brandeis University on asset-building and savings strategies since 2008.
