About this grant
The Foundation for the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation will redevelop three to four residential housing units in the Carriage Town Historic District, all of which are owned by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority. The homes will be sold as owner-occupied units in the neighborhood. In addition, the grantee will demolish the liquor store located at 847 Stevenson Street that is currently vacant and blighted and within close proximity to the Educare facility and Durant-Tuuri-Mott Elementary School.
