About this grant
With offices in South America, Asia, Africa, and the United States, International Rivers is one of the most effective international, nongovernmental organizations working on river protection. By partnering with local communities in more than 40 countries, the grantee successfully promotes sustainable uses of freshwater systems around the world. Additionally, it plays a major role in international efforts to strengthen policies at public financial institutions. This grant increase will support International Rivers’ search to replace its executive director as well as costs to retain a firm to conduct a board evaluation.
