About this grant

This grant will support EmBe which coordinates the South Dakota Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will: 1) develop and implement an out-of-school time leadership institute for educators; 2) establish a youth voice council; 3) work with policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help South Dakota youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen by Mott.
