About this grant
The Instituto Centro de Vida is a Brazilian civil society organization that serves as the secretariat of the Brazilian Infrastructure Working Group and works with communities impacted by large hydroelectric development in Amazon rivers. Over the project period, the grantee has organized webinars and regular Infrastructure Working Group convenings and monitored the social and environmental impacts of the Teles Pires and Sao Manoel hydroelectric plants. This grant increase will support the grantee to consolidate the infrastructure working group and prepare the second conference on infrastructure finance in the Brazilian Amazon.
