About this grant
This grant will support community foundation development in Colombia. Established in 2022, TerritoriA is an independent nonprofit founded specifically to continue the community foundation development work. The grantee’s planned activities over the next two years include; 1) further propagating the concept; 2) generating knowledge about community philanthropy; 3) providing training and technical assistance; 4) supporting at least 10 new initiative groups; 5) facilitating the creation of at least three new community foundations; and 6) developing and implementing a sustainability strategy. With Mott Foundation support, the grantee will continue to support the community foundation concept in Columbia. Previous support from the Mott Foundation to the organization Evaluar Consultores has expanded the community foundation concept with various Colombian stakeholders throughout the region.
