About this grant
Minnesota Environmental Partnership is the largest and most active coalition of environmental and conservation groups in the state. Since 1998 the grantee has provided assistance for its members to convene, communicate and collaborate to protect the state’s natural resources and environmental health for its residents. With support from the Mott Foundation, the grantee is promoting protections for land and water, especially in the Lake Superior region, through an equity lens. The grantee is also a leader in the state-level coalition to address climate change. Renewed general purposes support will help advance all of Minnesota Environmental Partnership’s goals, including the effort to integrate environmental justice into its work on water quality, climate change and Great Lakes restoration.
