About this grant

CFLeads is launching the Economic Mobility Action Network, a peer network of initially six community foundation teams from around the country that will design and implement an economic mobility agenda in their communities over the next two years. The grantee will enlist an expert from the Brookings Institution and other community foundation peers to introduce the Sustainable Development Goals to this network. It will then test the possibilities for the participating community foundations to integrate the goals as a guiding framework for their economic mobility work. Expertise and peer learning will primarily be delivered through two meetings in 2020 as well as consulting and technical assistance. Established in 1991 as the Coalition of Community Foundations for Youth, CFLeads became an independent nonprofit organization in 2017. Its mission is to help community foundations build strong communities by advancing effective practices, sharing knowledge, and galvanizing action on the critical issues of our time.
