About this grant
The program goal is to encourage community foundations to advance the Sustainable Development Goals at the local level. To this end, the Central Florida Foundation will advance the Thrive Central Florida initiative—an integrated approach to utilizing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Social Determinants of Health to create a more cohesive way to solve complex social issues in Central Florida. Founded in 1994, the grantee is a public grantmaking foundation that connects philanthropy and strategy to address community issues, manages and invests charitable gifts, offers donors personalized service and expert grantmaking advice and connects donors with charitable organizations that meet their philanthropic goals.
