About this grant

Michigan Radio, the state’s premier public radio station, broadcasts over four stations in the Great Lakes State. The station’s Environment Report is an ongoing news segment that explores the relationship between the natural work and everyday lives of Michiganders. With prior Mott support, Michigan Radio expanded news coverage of Great Lakes and drinking water issues and became a leading member of the Great Lakes News Collaborative. With renewed support, the Environment Report will produce more original content on these topics for broadcast and digital media platforms. The University of Michigan will continue its active engagement with the Great Lakes News Collaborative, sharing content and coordinating story production.
