About this grant
The Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales is a Peruvian nongovernmental organization with offices in Lima and Iquitos, the capital of the Peruvian Amazon Department of Loreto. Over the last two years, the grantee brought off-grid solar energy and training to six communities in the Peruvian Amazon, strengthening forest protection, community resilience and economic activities. With this renewal grant, the grantee will expand the solar energy access, training and sustainability models to promote scaling up and replication of the model in Peru.
