About this grant
The purpose of this project is to provide the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan with one million masks for redistribution to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The grantee will use its warehousing and distribution system to provide masks to organizations in Flint and Genesee County, including nonprofits, Flint City Hall and schools. Established in 1981, the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan solicits, stores and distributes food, either directly or through a network of more than 400 partner agencies in 22 counties.
