Florida Statewide Afterschool Network

About this grant

This grant will support the Florida Statewide Afterschool Network to expand access to high-quality afterschool programs for young people. Specific initiatives will include: 1) increase the number of afterschool programs available for young people through increasing recruitment and retention of afterschool program staff, including a new Out-of-School Time Fellowship Program; 2) enhance youth outcomes by developing and providing training programs on quality standards for summer learning programs; 3) work with education stakeholders and policymakers to design and implement education recovery funding to help Florida youth recover and thrive; 4) work with the Mott Foundation to design future afterschool programs and ecosystems; and 5) support the promotion and distribution of Mizzen resources.
