About this grant
The Metropolitan Policy Program at Brookings Institution, an internationally known think tank, works with local communities to assist in the development and strategy for retooling the American economy. With renewal support, the grantee will undertake a range of work to promote the economic competitiveness of metropolitan areas domestically and globally, including older industrial cities such as Flint. Activities will include original research, policy advocacy, analytical tool development and network building. In addition, some work directly with the Flint organizations will be funded through this grant.
