INSPIRE - Initiative for Strategic Philanthropy and Intelligent Resources

About this grant

The project goal is to strengthen community philanthropy globally. To this end, the Association for the Practice of Transformation will continue to develop and manage INSPIRE — Initiative for Strategic Philanthropy and Intelligent Resources as an informal network of community foundation practitioners and experts. In the past three years, the grantee has engaged 220 community foundation and philanthropic support organization practitioners from 82 organizations through codesigning, facilitating and providing knowledge in over 60 learning events. The grantee has also: 1) led in-person study visits; 2) held annual “Thinkfrastructure” virtual conferences; 3) facilitated online workshops and practitioner circles; and 4) created a host of knowledge resources on its website. Over the next three years, the grantee will continue convening practitioners, producing knowledge resources and supporting experimentation and innovation in the community foundation field. This will include a global gathering for community foundation support organizations in 2025. Established in 2018, the Association for the Practice of Transformation is located in Brasov, Romania.
