About this grant
The Center for Philanthropy and Social Investment at the Adolfo Ibanez University will promote the development of sustainable communities throughout Latin America, based on an agenda that includes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The center will highlight the role of community foundations as valuable contributors to the development of sustainable communities. The center will also produce a guide, seven case studies and two online courses on sustainable communities, the Sustainable Development Goals and community foundations. These will be shared through webinars, seminars, podcasts, videos and other events. Founded in 2015, the Center for Philanthropy and Social Investment promotes the culture and practice of strategic giving in Chile and is part of the School of Government at the Adolfo Ibanez University, Chile’s leading private, non-profit university. Legally incorporated in 1988, the grantee’s mission is to provide an education based on personal responsibility and freedom.
