About this grant
The Flint Institute of Arts — located on the Flint Cultural Center campus — features museum galleries, a media arts space, an art school, studio space and public areas that engage visitors and attract new audiences from across the region. Students and adults visit the galleries, participate in educational programs, take art classes or attend events held at the institute. This grant will provide general purposes support to enable the grantee to present new exhibits that inspire and stimulate visitors, provide educational programming to area students, offer instruction in various art mediums to people of all ages, provide community events and programming and maintain its facilities.
