About this grant
This grant to the United Way of Genesee County will support the operations of The McKenzie Patrice-Croom Flint Community Lab at the Flint Development Center. The McKenzie Patrice-Croom Flint Community Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to test water for multiple contaminants. Scientists and staff of the lab, including youth, will work with residents to collect water samples, test for multiple contaminants, provide results and work with households to address any identified issues.
