About this grant
The goal of the project is to strengthen and expand the community foundation field in southern Africa. To achieve this goal, SGS Consulting will continue to provide support to existing community foundation support organizations in select countries in the region while identifying opportunities to support the growth of community foundations in South Africa. Additionally, the grantee will support the growth of a community foundation network in the region, create spaces for mutual learning and provide custom-made technical assistance to community foundation support organizations. Past support enabled the grantee to identify initiative groups and work with them to become community foundations. SGS Consulting has also supported community foundation support organizations in five countries in the region.
