About this grant

Access to affordable energy continues to be a major development challenge facing the world’s poor. With past Mott Foundation support, Oxfam America, an international development organization, has engaged with international financial institutions to advance clean energy solutions around the world, particularly in Africa. Over this grant period, the grantee will continue to provide research and technical support to partners in the Global South with the aim of increasing accountability for climate finance and accelerating the pace of a just and sustainable energy transition. Additionally, the grantee will document lessons learned over the past eleven years of the project.
